Locations

Harbour Main is located off Route 60 on the Avalon Peninsula. It is nestled between the communities of Holyrood and Avondale in Conception Bay. It is approx 45 mins drive from St. John's. If arriving via St. John's you have two options in terms of routes to get here. The first is to take The Trans Canada (Highway 1) to exit 36 Holyrood. Turn onto exit road and proceed (approx 5km) to stop sign. Turn left at this intersection and drive another 8 km to The Town of Harbour Main/Lakeview/Chapel's Cove. Proceed past Hickey's Building Supplies and the swimming area known as the Tide. Just past the Tide turn right onto Harbour Drive and follow the road along the water's edge. Just 0.7 kms down you will see Strapp's Heritage House and Pad's Place Crafts.Your second option is to take the scenic route from St. John's through Conception Bay South, along Route 60, all the way to Harbour Main. Follow instructions as above.

If arriving from a Western point via Argentia or Port aux Basques, take The Trans Canada Highway (Highway 1) to Exit 34 Avondale Access Road. Turn onto this exit road and continue on (approx 7.7 km) until you reach a stop sign. Turn right onto the main road and proceed approx 3.5 km  past the post office and Kennedy's store. Just past Kennedy's store turn left onto Harbour Drive and follow the road along the water's edge. Just 0.7 kms down you will see Strapp's Heritage House and Pad's Place Crafts.
